Ok... heres the deal i've got a 1.8 or 1.9L 89' CAMRY... and i wanna know which size piping would suit the car the best...

I know the bigger the piping, the louder the sound... but i was also told that it may be louder but it might not produce a very nice note if I get a 2 1/4".

Also do u know how big a difference a "magna flow" muffler to the standard lukey mild steel muffler which im looking at?

Do any of u have any input or advice u could give me regarding these topics

Oh yeah after i get my reconned engine im gonna get custom extractors (4 into 2 into 1), and a K & N air filter with cold air induction)then the sports exhaust im enquiring about now....

CANT FREAKIN WAIT

What kind of horsepower are we talking?150 horsepower will probably benifit the most from a 2 inch pipe, you don't want to lose any back pressure because that's where your power is.Turbo is a big diferrance, some have gone up to 3 inches!I hope this helped.

whoa... nah man... my engine is stock standard, the standard 2.0L Gen2 is 115 HP, so since mine is a 1.8 or 1.9L so i reckon mine'll be about 105HP or sumthing... just a guess.

After all the mods i might be able to get a bout a %30 HP Increase MAX so... thats like 137HP...

btw thanX 4 the input

Lemme know how the exhaust upgrades go... I'm going to be looking into redoing my exhaust system soon as one of the preparation steps for an engine swap...

BTW, do you have any pictures of what those rims look like on your car?

I want some nice summer rims for my gen2.

Thanks,

-K

Ahh, nice man

I'm really not sure what engine swap yet. I may get off a lot cheaper getting a 3S-FE (I currently have a V6 camry) engine and doing a custom turbo setup than with a full 3S-GTE swap. Still have yet to set it in stone.

Late,

Kam
