no check engine light when key is in on position

91 4cy camry
was checking fuel pump with diagnosis terminals (+B,FP) accidentally crossed wire to another terminal (+B,Te1 I think). I now have no spark and noticed that the check engine light does not come on when the key is in the on position. What does it mean when I have no check light, did I fry my ecu? or could this be a fuse somewhere? Any help is greatly appreciated

Check the EFI fuse; it is probably blown and needs to be replaced
