88LE AC light not on in HVAC control?

Hello,

I've been trying to figure out the problem to an A/C dilemma.
A while back the A/C Compressor locked up on my 1988 Camry wagon LE so I replaced it with a different one but the A/C and ECON lights will not light up on my HVAC control (push button style). I have tried switching out the HVAC controller which did not work so I got another A/C relay and that did not work, so I'm stuck and I am wondering if anyone could help?
Thanks

Other notes I have, both fans are operating and when I applied 12 volts to the clutch pulley the clutch engaged and ran without issue. I think the only other thing I can replace would be the two prong "A/C switch" below the battery?

Hmmm not sure what is going on there. Do the other lights on the controls work? Sounds obvious, but a fuse? I put in an A/C system in my 1987 from scratch (car never came with it) and before I had the system charged, the lights did work on the buttons, although the compressor did not engage because of no system pressure. So I don't think it has anything to do with the high/low pressure switch or anything like that, unless the wiring to them might be damaged?

It might be the A/C amplifier, or the A/C controller (forget the correct name right now) they are two circuit boards on the right side near the heater motor. That's the only thing I can think of right now.

Yes all of the lights work other than A/C and ECON and I checked all of the fuses and they were fine.
My initial thought that the light wasn't on because of no freon in the system so I tried to charge it but that didn't work.

The bulbs are good.
Could anyone tell me more about the A/C amplifier? I have seen boards similar in style but that was for the blower motor, when it failed it went into an all or nothing function. Could this possibly be my problem for the A/C?

I found the problem.

I pulled the two kick panels on the passenger side to inspect the blower and it's related parts, I found another power block with some relays and one fuse. I have no idea what it is for but it was blown, I replaced it and now the A/C and ECON lights work and I have A/C.

If anyone wants to chime in on what the actual fuse is feel free to, I don't have an owner's manual or a Haynes to reference the fuse.
