91 4cyl runs for a few seconds then dies

91 4cyl wagon 160,000 miles auto trans

Okay, ran fine all day, went to start again a few hours later and no spark. First changed coil but still no spark figured out the timing belt had broke. Changed timing belt and now will start for 3 seconds(runs perfect) but then dies. Checked fuel pump with diagnostic (+B,FP) and works fine, diagnostic (TE1,E1) do not produce any codes. Squirting gasoline into intake does keep the car running til the gas burns off, so I'm pretty sure I have a fuel problem. There is a full tank of gas, changed fuel filter, but the car has sat for 2 weeks. I'm wondering if there is a start circuit the EFI uses and a run circuit that may not be working. Like I said before the car ran fine since I bought it so I don't think it would be the injectors. Did I miss something when changing the timing belt? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated,
Mahalo

feeling a little humbled, had everything back together, checked all wires, connections, fuses, and relays. My girl friend mentioned that I forgot a piece which was the rubber tube going from the air filter to the intake manifold. I of course said that doesn't matter right now, until I tried it, didn't know there was a air sensor on the air filter module, hooked it up and now runs better than ever.
