1993 camry with water pump issues

I have a 1993 camry, it was over heating and come to find out the fan was low on hydr. fluid or atf what ever u may want to refer to it as. Anyway after solving that issue and getting the car home and cooling down i checked the water when i was adding water I noticed it was running out from behind one of the pullies. my brother took it to his shop so he could look at it. He doesnt seem to think it is the water pump. He says it looks like the water is coming from a hose around in that same area. Does anyone know what he is talking about and if so what the tech. term is so i can find parts.

post the question in the gen3 section u'll get more help... but your post is confusing.. the fan doesn't need any fluids... do you mean the radiator was low on coolant ? if it's leaking from the hoses then just replace the hose there's only 2 coolant hoses one under that runs to the thermostat housing and the upper one you can just see from the radiator when you open the hood sounds like the lower one is busted
