Call will Roll Start every time, but Starting with Ignition is tricky
I posted a thread a while back about having a hard time getting the car to start. I'd have to crank it between 5-10 times to get it to start, and this is pretty consistent no matter what the weather is like. I've checked the cold start injector, TPS, MAF, and just about every other sensor there is. I've also taken it to two mechanics who were stumped, but their best guess was a faulty ECU.
One thing that I've noticed is that if I put the key in the On position with the engine off, get a good rolling start, I can pop the clutch in either first or second gear and it will start up everytime.
Before I dropped a couple hundred on a new computer I wanted to ask you guys for help one more time.
It's a 1990 Camry with a 2.0 and 5-speed.
