Code 25 and 26

My 89 camry got code 25 and 26 Air-fuel lean and rich malfunction.
I have cleaned MAF, throttle body sensor and IAC valve.
Codes come again after three days.
Any Idea ?

You can read my thread, had the same codes you got.

Maybe you will have the same luck, but the manual says it can be a lot of different things. I was able to narrow it down real quick because everything was new already.

EGR Question

I cleaned the EGR valve and cleared the codes. Id ran the car for two days. The code 25 and 26 seem to go away. I open the AC on hot afternoon today. After I ran 6 miles on freeway. I got to stop at the intersection then the codes come back again. Any Idea ?

i replaced the MAF on a friend's car and it got rid of the code(s). its expensive but at least his gas mileage improved and no more check engine light. Lol.

The codes are in the memory. The CEL is not on when I start the car. But sometimes the CEL on after I drive the car for one or two hours. Sometime CEL is not on though I drive the car for whole day.
The mileage of this old car is quite good.
