can you tell me whats missing? 89 camry

hey guys, new on here. in my quest to fix my ac, i have been looking around my engine bay. and something definitely seems like it is missing in this space on the left side (passenger side) on the bay. it doesnt seem like its anything too important to the car since it runs fine, but can anyone shed light on whats missing? see the pictures below

I'd say that empty shelf area is for arranging your tools when you do the timing belt.... At least, it worked for me!

haha nice. the guy i bought it from must have kept the flux capacitor, time travel is addictive.
