1985 Camry le ac recharge question.

I'm going to recharge the ac in my 85 camry, but I can't tell which nozzle is the Hi pressure-side or low pressure side. Both nozzles have black caps on them, one is located behind the front passenger side headlight, the other is by the engine block.I can't seem to find a free online pdf manual for my car anywhere, just people selling manuals for 85.00

The one before the evaporator is the high side. The return to the compressor is the low side. Also the caps should be 2 different sizes. Was your car retrofitted over to R-134a? I'll check my brothers car and let you know.

The connector that is located on the larger diameter ac tube is the low pressure connector. At least it is on my 1989 (2nd Generation) Camry. I charged the ac system up myself with R12 refrigerant. Like Lee250 was asking, was the ac system in your car converted to the newer R134a or does it still have the original R12 refrigerant?

The one right behind the headlight is high side the one under the power steering reservoir is the low side. Idk what the one on the compressor is.
