coolant temp sensor issue

Lately my car has been thinking it's getting hot, verified it's not with a laser thermometer, so I went to replace the sensor. The replacement sensor the parts store said it was is about 2 times to small. Now I need to return that one and get the right one but they say that's the only one for it. Where can I get the proper one?

I ran into the exact same problem when I was looking for this for my moms ls400 which has the exact same sensor as our camry's. I couldn't find it any where not even napa I gave up on looking for it. I think that toyota is the only place you can find it but I never tried ordering it. If you look closely at it you can see the vintage TEQ toyota logo on it. Good luck bro.

What year Camry? 4 or 6 cyl? and which sensor? you can email me with all the info and I'll get your a Part number and price. Also, the VIN would help if you have it.

ok so im an idiot and relized that there is like 4 or five sensor all in the same area and that sensor is there. However now im not sure its a temp sensor issue, it might be more a seatbelt issue. You know when the switch for the seat belts that says lift for emergency, it seems that that alarm is the one going off just dont know why. Hopefully some one can help me out with this issue.
