electrical problems are the worst! any opinions, advice, direction?

87 camry all symptoms occurred around same time, before i noticed problems, i had just got done removing entire passenger seat for cleaning, i also removed rear seat but decided to hold off on cleaning that

after cleaning and re-installing passenger seat, later that day...

first noticeable problem was automatic seatbelts were not functioning properly, they were stuck in forward position. i didnt want to drive around like that so i got to the motor and winded it back. when i opened the door, the belts moved forward and was stuck there again. so i winded the belts back then disconnected so it wouldnt move forward again.

next i noticed my gas and temperature gauge were not working but my odometer was.

my AC and fan wasnt working either.

i have aftermarket receiver in my car and for those with one know that when faceplate is in, the receiver usually lights up and displays time. well mine didnt light up or display anything but when i turned it on, the radio/cd works. odd.

my headlights/turn signals/brake lights function but my reverse lights do not

i know there is fuse box in engine bay and also under left kick panel on driver side, is there another area for fuses? could it be fuses? or something more? i've searched the forum but i might've missed a thread on this issue

has anything like this happened to your camry? any help would be greatly appreciated

The speedometer/odometer is mechanical and should keep working even if there is a fuse problem.

It sounds like you have a problem with the 7.5A Gauge fuse that should be located in the driver's side kick panel.
