L.e.d footlights help

Im trying to mount these l.e.d driving lights under my dash as courtousy lights. but cant figure out how to wire them.

just wanted to know if anyones done anything like this.
i tried to wire it to a fuse (constant power supply) so no go.
and the door sensor which is also a constant power supply somehow.

i dont wanna run a switch. i want them to come on when the doors open.

any ideas?

The door switches switch ground, not power. That may have been tripping you up.

You should easily be able to get constant power and the switched ground from the wires that go to the dome light - they go through the passenger side A-pillar.
