What have you tried so far? You can adjust at the latch and at the hinges... It looks like both are off somewhat. I would assume the car has been 'tapped' at the rear and that's why things are out of adjustment.

I have adjusted the latch a little bit so the trunk lid would lock & stay closed . I just dont want to put the spoiler on with the trunk looking all out off whack.
But I have tried to tap the hinges a little bit to the left . About 5yrs ago the right hinge broke & it got fixed. I loosened the bolts on both hinges and tapped on it so it would adjust; I also tried to add some shims on the right side hinge. A friend suggested that I drill out the holes. But I feel that there is not a lot to drill out.

there's a pin on the hinge do-hikky that's probbly bent, just follow the hinge down to where it meets the tensioner bars and you'll see what i'm talking about. the only way is just to get the whole new assembly at the junkyard.

i just recently fixed an identical problem. I had two problems actually... the lid would not stay up, and when closed it rode high on the driver side and was set pretty far right of center so I had a big gap on the driver side. I resolved the "staying up" issue by replacing a broken hinge pin (the small hinge that connects the to the torsion bars) with a heavy duty quick release pin from the hardware store. It did require I drill the pin hole a little larger. To do all this I had to completely remove the lid. When I reinstalled, I still had the "driver side high and off center" problem. I resolved this by simply tweeking the lid down on the driver side and up on the passenger side, then made slight adjustments with the four mounting bolts just snug until I had it centered and sitting level. I'm not sure what part/s I bent back into proper form when I performed the aforementioned tweeking, but it worked. The trunk lid is in perfect order now and all it cost me was about two hours of my time and $2 at Lowes.
Good Luck!

Thanks , When I tried to adjust it ; i tapped on the hinges lightly with a hammer ; but it still is the same, I then had a friend come over and we loosened the 4 bolts & got the trunk lid from contacting the right rear quarter panel, but it the high low is still the same... how did you tweak it ? did you add washers on the right hinge?

I believe the problem with mine was the lid itself was somehow warped. by lifting up on the passenger side while pushing down on the driver side I removed the warp. At least that is my theory, since the problem was resolved after that.
