USA 2nd gen or 3rd gen????

I have a 89 Camry and a 93 Camry both automatic. Which would be easier to do a 3sgte swap and eventually an awd swap...

Thanks in advance..

AWD swap will suck either way. Go for a 2nd Gen all-trac, makes 3SGTE a bolt-in swap just needing wiring.

Its easier to drive/fly to the northern states to find a car than it is to cut and weld an entire floorpan and rear suspension...

There is another All-Trac here where I live, I discovered recently... But it's in really rough shape. I'm pretty good friends with the guy's daughter (not like that, sadly. She's smokin' but still jailbait) and I could see if he's willing to give it up- it's been his beater car since it was new. Rear quarter panel on the driver's side is thoroughly smashed in, as well as front fender on the passenger side. Both of these can be replaced without too much issue (there are nearby salvage yards where you could get the bits you need) and Ramah is probably the closest place you'll find with any available. There's also one up in Gallup but I've only seen it twice and I have no idea who owns it.

There may not be any in Texas but there are a goodly amount next door in New Mexico.
