2nd Generation Wipers Not working

Hi all;

Two nights ago, my wipers stopped working while using them in some rainy weather.

When the switch/ lever is on, i get no response from them and no response from the motor.

I already found a replacement (Thank God, cuz they were hard to find used) , but before i make the purchase, i wanted to check if there's a fusible link or relay i should first check.

I tried operating other functions like the window washer button on the lever and it works fine.

It's a JDM 1990 Lumiere G (3S-FE)

Thanks in advance for the help;

Stanno

There is a 20A fuse, but that also runs the windshield washer pump - so that probably isn't the problem.

There should be constant power (when the car is in the 'ON' position) at the Blue wire at the wiper motor. With the switch is set to 'low' there should be power at the blue-black wire and in 'high' there should be power at the blue-orange wire. The body of the wiper motor should be at 0V (ground). If all of those things check ok, then it is the wiper motor that is bad.

Thanks 4 the reply Charlie. I took it out & had an auto electrician look @ it. All electrical components were ok. Turns out a gear inside was jammed. He rectified the problem & now it's good as new thank God. Thanks again man.
