2nd Generation Coolant hose under distributor leaking, part #?

Hi Guys!

My distributor has been leaking oil for quite some time now. While this causes idle issues, it hasn't detrimental until now. The oil leaking onto the coolant hose directly under the distributor (around the area where the distributor meets the cap) and finally melted it away, causing a pretty big coolant leak though that hose.

Is there any resource I can use to look up the part number of that hose? It looks like the hose runs directly from the block into the firewall, and then the heater core (?). Besides the normal air purging when replacing the radiator fluid, is there anything else required?

Thanks!

Steve

toyotapartseast.com has images you can view and also order from there if you want.

You'll find something like this with prices and part no. that match up.

Thanks Grego!! Exactly what I was looking for. I'll confirm when I'm home today but it looks to be this one (87246A).

That hose can be replaced by regular heater hose as I did. The only hose that's special is the 87245E, that can't be replaced with heater hose because of the angles and tight space.

Oh sweet. Wasn't looking forward to paying oem prices. Is heater hose something you can get locally? Happen to remember the diameter?

So I pull the cap off last night. It appears two hoses have melted away:

1. 87246A - going from the firewall into the hardline (running from in front of the engine block)

2. A skinnier hose going from a nipple on the sensor branch (where the coolant bleed screw is) into somewhere else. I can't see to find a diagram anywhere of this. Any one happen to be able to locate a diagram showing the coolant sensor branch?

Local auto parts store will have heater hose. Size is 5/8" and the store can confirm that or buy the exact part from the parts place listed by another poster.
