exhaust in cabin

hey, i have a 90 4 cylinder with an exhaust question.

My car is literally blowing exhaust into the cabin.

You can't drive it for 2 minutes without feeling like death.

So, I am wondering where up front could the car be leaking so much exhaust?

I have tried to run my hand up and down the exhaust manifold, flex pipe, etc but haven't really been able to figure out where its leaking so bad when the engine is under load.

I am missing my muffler, so the pipe kind of just ends at the back of the car, but that wouldn't cause so much exhaust inside the car, would it?

Any help would be appreciated.

Any holes in the body due to rust? Is there a seal at the back of the hood (hood to firewall seal)? Air is drawn into the cabin from the vents at the base of the windshield, mainly. Exhaust not exiting at/past the bumper will do crazy things - don't just assume the air under the car is all moving backwards.
