Spring questions

I've got 240k miles on the stock springs (at least, I'm pretty sure they're stock. I can get pics) and have discovered I can get a set of sport springs for a Celica All-Trac. Should I go for it? I prefer a firmer ride but am curious what everyone's stances on lowered Camrys are.

Have an '88 4 cyl. wagon with Intrax springs, one rear just broke, it is 5 years old. Had a '90 V6 wagon with '88 Celica Eibach springs on it. Both ride great and plenty of ground clearance for most normal winter driving, never been stuck. Helps a, by todays standards, poor handling car handle better. I think the look of a lowered car is much better than stock. Vote to lower it.

That's what I was thinking... And I can pick up a set of brand-new Celica springs for $200, whereas it was going to run nearly $400 after tax for stock replacements.
