Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Much as I hate those damned things (5-year plans) I figured I should scribble one down for the All-Trac. I'm going to keep searching for an ES250 with a healthy front end and use that as a donor for a front clip conversion- I found a sizable chunk of rust on the passenger front fender where it got folded over when the PO's parents' trailer rolled into the front end. Same time I do the clip conversion, I'm going to cram in a 3S-GE with stock 3S-FE fuel management just so I can have a neato full-on DOHC engine... Even if there won't be any actual power gains. Figure timing will be good practice for the eventual 3S-GTE swap.

Besides, I'd have to hack it all up so I could have an All-Trac ES250!
I really, really want to do this. The ES250's are just so damn rare, if I ever find a decent one locally I will buy it.

How much $ do you plan to spend ? I have a vista front i imported from japan, I'm thinking about selling. It's rust free. http://yakmee.com/images/main/sample...n_4d_1458b.jpg I have it all except for the bumper which charlie has now.

I'm broke and this is long-term... But I'd really like to stay under $500 all told. I can pull a front clip at my nearest u-pull-it for under $200, and there are three ES250s in pretty good shape in there now- but I'm making minimum wage only 8 hours a week, which can only cover gas and just barely at that... So this falls into the five-year plan. If you still have your front clip in 5 years, I can go probably $1200 max depending on condition- and on if I can score a welding job or not. If I'm able to land a spot as a foreman, you could name your price.
I just love the way they look.
....oooooh mama I checked that link and do want. PM me a price and if I've got the cash while you've still got it I'll let you know. I could go ES250 front bumper with the rest of that. Be a smokin' Camry.
you can always PM me if you got some spare $ laying around. I've had it for awhile now, planned on using it myself but decided not to. I have the hood, fenders, headllights, corner lights, grill.
