Oddly enough, the engine block part number for the Alltrac and FWD Camry 3s-fe are different. I just don't know what the actual differences are though.

You will be swapping a 6-bolt crank motor into an 8-bolt crank car - make sure you can get the correct Camry Alltrac 6-bolt flywheel before you commit to buying the car (Alltrac and FWD flywheels are different). That's the only issue I know for sure you will run into... I'm assuming the engine is in the car, its just not running?

i want to know how you found an all trac! id totally buy one if i could find one and the price was right!

also, i think that you should ask him why the car stopped running. it could be a simple issue that many of us here have already worked around

Why not hunt down a later-model 2wd Camry with an 8-bolt crank or just find an 8-bolt-crank 3SFE in a junkyard and have two Camrys?! That's, uh, what I did... Well, now I'm hunting down a 3SGE to stick into the All-Trac to better match the lower gearing.

This forum needs a sheepish face.
