gen 2 wipers fuse blown
ok, so I blew a fuse for the wipers & spray, replaced it and the next week it blew again...this is what I have trouble shot so far:
1) the wipers work great in fast and in slow
2)when I use the int. wiper speed they work fine, but if I turn the wipers to "off" while in mid cycle, they stop ~1-2 inches short then will start and cycle as normal when I take it out of "off" to int., slow or fast
3) the wipers cycle and stop short when I use the "mist" speed (does one cycle and stops short)
4) if I leave the wipers cycle completely in "int" speed, they complete the cycle and stop low on the windshield like normal
I think this stopping early and not completing the cycle is drawing current through the fuse and heats it up, so when I cycle the wipers a few minutes later the fuse blows....is there a relay/limit switch that's making up early to stop the wipers but allowing the circuit to maintain a currrent flow? Is the wiper switch assembly worn out? Pretty sure the motor is ok...
