They're not bad but don't expect them to feel like a sports car. Stock save for gutted cats and a glasspack, mine can pace a Civic Coupe and hold speed up a 30-40% grade in fourth gear... But it isn't fast. I enjoy driving both of mine.

I would imagine an i4 would give an auto v6 a run for its money, yeah. Shame you're in maryland- there is a cherry v6 manual near here.

Yup, in terms of speed a V6 auto is right there with a 4cyl 5-speed. I've actually done that race in my younger years.

If it is good running condition, expect 30+ MPG in mixed driving and 35+ on the highway at reasonable speeds (<75mph). You have to downshift for real passing power, but it still has good torque (drivable) between 2k and 3k RPM.

Lol, you never truly enjoy your car for long, even with more money. I was content with my WRX (bought new) for about 1 month... then I started chasing the mods to keep the rush.

My current 2-year or so plan for cars includes some expensive stuff. Hopefully I can keep myself from spending too much.
