2nd Generation 89 2vzfe egr problem?

I have been tackling issues trying to get my camry back on the road and emission legal. It sat for over 5 yrs with a bad timing belt....long story.

Well I have replaced the 02 sensor, afm, ect sensor, both vaccuum switches and cleaned the egr valve. The IAC. Valve test out fine and all codes have been fixed and cleared.

The car is still some what sluggish in the low range tiil about 45mph or so.

Today I noticed coolant dripping from the vacuum modulator. It appears to be coming from the line from the egr valve. Any ideas on what is going on here ? Or any ideas on my sluggish issues

Also I'm only getting about 17 to 1i8 mpg

If green or whatever coolant leaks from EGR VM it can be sign of egr valve crrosion (on v-6 the ERG is water cooled) Bypass the EGR by connecting such hoses together plug the egr fittings and retest. Also plug one fitting on EGR with your finger while applying 20 psi air to the other. This will detect the leakIf replacement of corroded EGR will not take care of the problem your rear cam timing can be off (saw these problems 3 times )

Thanks for the info. Ill test the egr and take it apart and see what I can do. There's a couple clean parts cars at the local wrench a part that have newer looking egr valves so worse case ill swap it out. Thanks again
