HID Headlight

I am looking to put some HID's in my Camry, the stock headlights seem to be absolute crap as far as I can tell (I am thinking of putting relays on the headlights to see if this will help the problem). However I want to do it right and not add to the population of @$$holes blinding everyone else. Does anyone know if there are any other model cars that have projector headlight assemblies that will fit in a gen2 with little or no modification? (I've been browsing and it kinda looks like e36 bimmer headlights would fit nicely in a gen2) Alternatively is there a good place to get a set of projector lenses that I could get to install into the stock housing? (I've already found a way to get a clear lens in place of the stock halogen glass lens)

Thanks for any help.

Really? I thought the original headlights were pretty damned bright even compared to newer cars. Maybe just clean/polish up the glass?

Hid does blind people, i hate that, i kind of doubt you can get the self leveling or whatever at any reasonable price on a camry, a real hid headlamp is going to cost too large a fraction of what the car is worth to begin with.

The HIDPlanet forums are a good place to start if you are going to do a full projector retrofit in your stock housings. The "FX-R" projectors (found on eBay and other places) are the current hot setup (good price/performance ratio). That of course is only if you have a clear lens on the headlight housing...

If you do get clear front lenses done, the rest of the project can be done for a pretty decent price.

Don't buy those chinese plug and play projectors on ebay, what ever you do. The cut off sucks and the bulbs are proprietary (you can only buy them on ebay or from china which takes about 3 weeks for shipping). But yeah HID are the way to go definitely.

Heres some inspiration: Quad fxr's in a 1994 corolla (there should definately be enough room for 4 fxr's in gen 2 housings).
