In Victoria I take alternators and starters to a local auto electric repair place. They have (or can get) all the parts and have the jigs to bench test. The local Toyota dealer sends folks there anyway.
There probably is an auto electric repair depot in you area.
87 3sfe.

PM ToyotaPartsMan, a TN sponsor, and see what kind of prices he can give you. Usually 30% of MSRP + shipping. Otherwise if you can find a local shop that fixes these things like Gazelle says too.

Or check:

Any auto-electric shop would be able to sell you a set of contacts. There are also many online sources (like http://www.startercontacts.com).

It's pretty straightforward to replace the contacts. Just be sure they sit flat after you tighten them down.
