Magnefine Transmission filter

I have ordered a Magnefine off of ebay... While Im waitin for it to arrive.. Does anyone have experience installing one on a 3s-fe with auto trans.. do you know which line is return off of the cooler? I have 130k on mine and only plan on drain and refill.. no flush.. I had a bad experience with a flush on my last 2nd gen... It cost me a tranny.. so, this seems like the smart alternative to the flushing.. just a drain and refill and add a magnefine filter... 89LE wagon 3s-fe with auto and 130k.....

For the return line, you have a 50/50 chance of finding out by just pulling one out and see. But you don't need to take it off for the drain/refill. Just undo the big hex nut on the trans pan, drain as much as you can then remove all the bolts around the pan, 16 bolts or so. Then you can get to the filter on the inside. Then refill fluid through the trans dipstick.

After driving a while the cooler line should be the return line from the radiator. And verify it by using a segment clear PVC hose, something like $0.25/ft at Lowe's.
