Celica Ground Control Springs

I know that the 90-93 celica coilovers can retro into the camrys, but would the celica ground control springs work on the camry struts?

I recall reading somewhere that the springs are interchangeable, but don't take my word for it...

The strut bodies should be the same diameter, and since they don't use the stock spring seats (top or bottom), you should be good to go. Make sure you get the right length, rate, etc. for your goals.

Forgive me for showing my noobness at suspension terms, but are ground control springs what I would refer to as lowering springs?

They are, but they are adjustable like coilovers. I have Intrax springs now, which are lowering springs.

I'm not sure if its clear from this thread - Ground Control is a US company that makes adjustable coilover sleeve/spring units that work with stock-style struts. Check out their website, search google, etc. for more info.

There are also many other companies that do the same thing. Many are crappy chinese manufacturers, others run the range from mediocre to good.

Lowering springs, as a general term, fit in the same spring location as stock springs but allow the car to sit lower at static ride height... this can be good, bad, or indifferent depending on what you want for the car (looks, handling, ground clearance, etc.)

Sorry if I was too didactic there...
