Hey im new to this forum, i have a 1991 V6 LE camry wagon. I currently have dual exhaust. I plan on putting on the intrax drop kit, indiglo gauges, new 15 inch rims, and a body kit. I need help deciding on a body kit. I have seen the erubini body kit, and have seen a wings west kit for sale but cant find a pic of it. If anyone knows of any other kits that will fit my model please respond or msg me on AIM at pimpdaddylove77. If you have pic's of body kits on your gen 2 camry wagon please post a link. Also is it possible to fit a '92 kit on a '91? Any help will be greatly appreciated
Hmm... I don't think you can fit a 92 kit on a 91 without a ton of extra work ("It's Bondo-riffic!". I don't know of any kits other than the Erebuni one, though, and I don't really like it all that much. I kinda liked the Kaminari one, but it's not being made anymore. If you happen to find info on a wings west one, please let us know
Anyway, you do have the option of going custom, I believe someone from TeamSC3 (not sure who) did this. Maybe they'll reply too.
Yeah, the only way to fit a gen3 kit onto that car is "bondo-riffic" work. Especially since its for a sedan, and you have a wagon. Other than that, i can't help you out to much.
I have checked and 4 door kits fit the wagon. What exactly is going "bondo-rific"? How much would it cost to get this done roughly, and one last thing, if i find sideskirts from another kit that are the length required to fit my car, would there be any installation problems? I will most likeley get an airdam and valence from a 93 accord wagon(same dimensions) and force fir those, and get side skirts as well. Thanks for the input guys
O yeah, forgot to ask what you mean by going custom, what would the price be on that, sorry im new to this stuff as you can probably tell, thanks again.
Bondo is a brand of "car putty" that you can use to fix cars, and "plaster" things together. It would require alot of cutting, and molding to get a 92 bodykit to fit on yours. It could be quite costly to get kits from other cars to get onto your car, if you even got it to look resonably good, because of all the chopping you have to do. in my opinion, its not worth all the hassle, unless your bill gates and have lots o' money.
Just depends a lot on your local shop for prices and the difficulty of installing the kit. Remember that you'll more than likely need it painted too. I'm actually going to be asking around here locally for a friend's 93 Camry next week, so I'll let you know so you can compare prices.
Cool, when you get the prices ont he install send me a message or something. When you have the kit painted can you jsut get it done at like fact-o-bake or do you have to take it to the toyota dealership to get a perfect-match-paint. If you have already had yours painted how much did it cost...and if u cant tell i am new to this forum lol
