92' SV21 Camry Idle problem

Hey Camry Enthusiasts,

I have been having problems with my car. I was driving to school 3 days ago and when i reached my destination about 25 minutes away from home, and was parking the car, all of a sudden, my rev's dropped from about 900RPM (IDLE) to 400RPM and then it just stalled and shut down. So i started the car again and tried to creep into the park, but it shut down again. I could feel the car vibrate more than usual, and it felt very sluggish moving into the parking spot. I just changed the spark plugs 2 days ago, and yesterday the car ran smooth w/o any of the idling problems. When i took the old spark plugs out, i also noticed that the thread side was dripping with oil, but for some reason, my exhaust is not smoking at all. I am not sure if this is an O-ring problem or if it something else. Because if it was an O-ring problem, wouldn't my car be blowing smoke out the exhaust?

This morning, the same problem occurred at sch. I realise it only happens about 25-30 minutes into the trip. So i am assuming it only happens when the engine is running hot. When i was driving back today, there was a huge traffic jam, which meant i had to idle at certain points. But i was afraid to keep the engine at idle, so i rev-ed to about 1000RPM to keep the engine running at a stand still, to prevent it from stalling and shutting down. Whenever i travel at high speed with more than 1000RPMs the car runs smooth. This problem only occurs at low RPMs. Can anyone tell me what the problem is?

This is an automatic 2.0L 3S-FE engine with EFI SV21 Camry. Any help would be appreciated! I really need the car as my school is at a remote place, which means there is no means of transport there. So I really need all the help i can get! Thanks in advance!

If your car has air flow meter (same EFI system used on US Camry) check for the vacuum leaks at intake boot.
Also make sure your new spark plugs are tightened down correctly and the the high voltage wire ends are not damaged
