1990 Camry

I have a 1990 Camry DX. I have a few spare $$ and I want to try and fix it up. Somebody told me that there is a SuperCharger made for that car. I don't know if it's true or not. But I'm going to get custom piping and make a custom air intake for it. But, As far as a possible body kit or other performance accessories go. I would take any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

There is a centrifigual supercharger kit for the 2nd gen Camrys. The supercharger itself replaces the a/c compressor so you won't have a/c anymore.

Its made by Stealth Induction (I think thats their name) in Australia.

Japspeed and Pacesetter has headers for a 3S-FE. Their made for a Celica, but they'll work on the 2nd gen 4cyls.

Muffler: Few hp.

Header: 10 - 15hp.

Intake: Few hp.

Supercharger: It runs at 5psi for about another 50hp to the crank. 1psi = about 10hp.

88LE already broke it down but incase ur not familiar with HP...

{not sure bout this just wat i've been told by the guy that did my car and other peeps}

Muffler + bigger piping (2 - 2 1/4 inch)= up to 10%

Headers= up to 10%

Headers(used in conjunction with exhaust setup)= like 15% - 20% (really not sure bout this but its just wat i heard)

Cold Air Intake= up to 5%
dont take my word on ALL this :wink:

...i'm planning i'm either go the same way you did to Custom turbo your 3s-Fe engine or swap the 2500cc v6 5speed... wut do you think?

...i was planning for the 3s-GTE too... but i think it's just way off my budget and the cop will just bang my car from the road... so wut's up w/ that Supercharger..!? i've never heard of anything about it...

Not sure about it. That's why I asked on here. Some dude I met down in Columbia told me about it as we started to discuss different makes and specs of cars.
