Gen2 (88) 3S-FE upgrades? suggestions?

Im new to this, but...

What can I do? Intake? Exaust? Anything with the fuel injection computer?

yes, i am a newbie and im sure youve all heard this stuff a thousand times but I havent found alot of specific info about the 3S-FE. (im going through the board catching up :smile: ) Anyone know of specific parts and or sites where I can read about improving my cars performance? I know its a pretty slow car, would anything help?
I cant really swap engines becuase I know thats way over my head.

3S-FE is an economy engine with all its power in the low RPM. Bolt-on pieces to imporve performance can be gotten from toysport.com You can drop a Celica engine
3S-GE or a turbo engine 3S-GTE. Engines with an F after the dash are economy. Engines with a G after the dash are high rpm performance engines, thats if you want to go to a mechanic b/c you said its over your head. Check toymods.au for brake upgrades and see my camry site for more information.
Oh and forget any computer upgrades the only
thing you can do is exhaust headers and intake with pulleys. See toysport.com

Can you say about how many horses to expect from such upgrades?
