Question '88 Camry - ARF!! heater inlet hose location??

Just wondering where the heater inlet hose is location on my 88 camry. Trying to backflush it myself. Seems easy enough...

Got one of those Prestone backflush kits...

They say is runs from the firewall to the top of engine...I see 2 but one runs from engine to heater control valve to firewall and other is REALLy hidden??? HELP!

The other hose that you say is hidden, is the outlet from the heater core to the engine.






Inlet hose to the valve runs into the back of the water neck that bolts onto the head.






And the outlet hose from the heater core runs into a metal pipe on the right side of the engine.

If you look on the front and right side of the block you'll see 2 metal pipes.

WOWEE. Jeeez. I didn't expect all that effort!! My god. Thanks a lot. I suppose my guess was correct about the flow direction to and from the heater core. It looks like the only place I can hook up a flushing kit is the tiny hose betwix the valve and the firewall huh?

Yes or with the heater valve open you could use the the inlet to valve hose.
