what's coils ?

anyways struts you can use KYB-gr2 (i bought a set for the car for 300$) or you can get some tokico inserts if you have serviceable struts.

i don't know about shocks but i know intrax makes them but it's lowering springs. or you can just get it from another camry at a junk yard if u want to leave it stock. i don't think there's any company that makes springs that's stock height

4 struts (Price??)

Mechanics say that the coils are special parts, help me understand why they seem special, im not really a mechanicy person I like to learn things and fix my self if possible

Camrys use struts, not shocks.

Struts are about $60 USD each. So ~$240 USD for all 4.

Lowering springs (Intrax) are about $200 USD. No idea what stock springs cost though.

Other then that look at the spring isolators and dust boots.

Spring isolators are a piece of rubber that sits between the bottom of the spring and strut. If its torn, ripped, broken, replace it. Otherwise you can reuse it.

Dust boots fit over the shaft (piston shaft) of the strut. If its torn, ripped, broken, replace it. Otherwise you can reuse it.
