91 check engine light replacement

How do I remove the bulb for the check engine light? Do I have to remove the gauge cluster, or is there a trick to reaching under the dash?

The light is on from a EGR signal and I don't plan on fixing it.

yeah you remove the gauge cluster and take out the bulb. people will still know there's a problem if you take it for a smog check. cause if u put the car on acc all the lights should turn on then off once the engine is on.. if you don't have to get a smog check then just pull out the light if it annoys you
