2nd Generation gen 2 cai..white container????

k, i've searched. i removed the fuse box and stock intake to figure out how to put my pod filter in the fender (for a cold air intake). i knew there was a hole behind the stock intake. however it is attached to a white container, which sits in the fender, under the battery (sorry no pics...i dont have a camera). what is it, and is it safe to remove? i hope someone knows what im talkin about. i remember reading something about in a previous thread but i cant seem to find it. please help!!!!???!!!!

yeah you could but its better if the pod is in the fender. mine is currently sitting in the airbox sucking in hot air. i've just been told (by jetspeed) that its the resonance chamber for the intake. i trust jetspeed but can anyone verify this? i figure it wont hurt to be told the same thing from a number of people.

The box in the fender is a resonator for the intake.

Remove it, you don't need it.
