Difficulity in Search for a/c topics on a '91 camry

Ya I know, you'll bash on me for this, but I am trying to do a search on a/c problems for a '91 camry and I am getting unusual results, nothing pertains to my search so maybe can someone help me?

Basically, my '91 (which I think is the biggest pile of sh*t as the engine runs solid, but it's the electronics that have always been bad on the car and it handles terribly) has an a/c problem on it. I did refill with R12, but within three days it, was all gone. I did try using a sniffer to find the leak but nothing was prominent. So my question is what tends to leak freon on a 88-91 camry? The guy i got the freon from told me it could be a compressor leak. I doubt it, I think it might be the evaporator as I have heard that one before. But any input is greatly appreciated.
