Which stereo is it, is there a model number on it or anything? I would assume there were several different radio units available, maybe if you take a picture of it, someone might be able to tell also.

Most work the same way. Tune in the station you want to keep manually. Then press in and hold the button you want that station to be tied to down for 2-3 seconds. You should hear an electronic beep. Release the button. Then it's done.

Thanx, But its the old receiver AM/FM stereo, all analog, with big mechanical push-buttons... I dont have a picture of it, but i'll get a digital cam soon.

Anyways, its not a big deal thx alot

The old mechanical tuners worked in a slightly different manner. You manually tune in the station. Then, you pull the button you want that station associated with out a bit. Then push it back in all the way. It might be the other way around for some mechanical tuners; pull the button out first, and then tune in the station and then push it back in all the way.
