uh you just go buy one with a tach of another camry(junk yards would be a good place to start) take out the old one plug in the new one and it works it's that easy. that's what i did...

if you want an aftermarket one i think it has 4 wires... on/ground/illum/igition oil. that's how you would wire it up.

Basically find a gen2 that has a tach, take it out and put it in your car...thats all there is to it, direct plug and play.

just make sure the one you get is from a car with the same engine as yours. IE if you have a 4cly you need to find a cluster w/tach from a 4cyl camry.

As for which cars...it was an option on all of them i beleive...all of the LE's have a tach, and many of the 5spd cars have a tach.
