89 Camry Wagon Troubles
I bought this 1989 Toyota Camry Station Wagon and didn't realize until now that the hatch won't lock when the automatic door lock button is pressed and the lock is all rusted out and nothing moves inside the lock iteslef even when cleaner was shot in there. I went to a lock specialist and he said a new lock would be about $50 and another $50 to have it installed. I have the back panel off that covers the lock from the inside but I was wondering if anyone else had something similar to this and had any idea on how to start taking the lock out.
Also the back windshield wiper motor is burnt out and I was considering replacing it. The back panel is off and I unbolted the motor from the inside and I removed the nut from the windshield wiper itself on the outside but I can't seem to figure out how I am sapposed to remove the motor from the wiper.
Other than those 2 minor problems this car runs just like brand new with 183,400 miles on it. I'll be driving this car for years.
