Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I'm finally going to get the wheels for my car. I'm going to run some 16's. however I want the rim to line up with the fender of my car. it seems on the gen2's they have a wider track in the front then in the rear. I searched for cars with the size i've mentioned and +38 offset where the front wheel lines up perfectly with the fender but the rear wheel is still deep inside the fender. Since I want the car to be even looking all around. what offsets should I be going for. I want some rota "Track R" and they only come in +35 or +40. I was thinking I'd need +35 for it to line up with the fender in the front. But what will I need for it to line up in the fender in the back? +35 with a spacer?
Thanks ahead of time.
Anthony.

Thanks man I'll go with +35 all around then and if needed. Add spacers to the rear. I don't think +35 will stick out the front fender. Well I hope not.

I'm running 17x7 +35mm with 205-40-17 and lowered 1.5" on Intrax springs with Tokico HP's.. I've got minor rubbing up front, but if you're at stock height you'd be more than fine. Yeah and they don't stick out.
I have 7 inch wide wheels on my gen2, the fronts are ok but the rears are so close to the struts the tires almost rub them
Nah I'm planning on going +35 offset all around but as i've mentioned the rears seem to be more inward than the front so I'm planning on sticking some spacers in the back to bring the rim outward to line up with the fender on top. I should have nothing to worry about.
