2nd Generation My 87 seems to be killing starters.

I've gone through 2 starters so far on my 87LE. The neutral switch has been changed. And my ignition switch is fine(checked by my alarm installer "CarTronics"). I'm almost at the end of the rope with this car. I want to modify it but first I want it running right. I thought it was fine after having my last starter changed by Toyota (3 months ago). Now my problem has returned and by the way it's acting I give this starter till end of January 06 before it dies, based on my experience with the last starter. Basically I turn the key and I don't get anything. The starter doesn't jump out to hit the flywheel. However I am getting fuel because I hear the cold start injector making noise.I don't think the car gets any spark either when this is happening. Which leads me to believe that this is an electrical problem within the car it self. However fuses aren't blowing so I don't know what the hell is causing it. I searched for gen2's with this problem and it seems like everyone says to change the starter. Well I've been there done that. Now I'm back there again and my problem is still around. I don't know what to do so here I am. Can anyone tell me what causes this problem. 87LE automatic. No it's not a shifter relay as the automatics don't have one according to my hanes manual.

Thanks

Anthony

2nd Generation

New starter motors each time.

Did you ever figure it out or the relay switch was a good enough solution for you.
