I've got an '86 LE...was running fine until last week, I think I blew the headgasket, we're going to try fixing it next week.

its worth checking to see if the head gasket is just cracked not completely broken. cos on mine it was only cracked and we kept it going for years by just using silicone to seal it up which saves u from having to pull the whole engine apart

I think we're just going to replace it anyway, since the car is out right now, and I have all summer to work on it, and I have another car that I can use, I might as well do as much as I can to it.

Out of curiosity, how did you get to the headgasket without pulling the engine apart?
