GEN 2 Leather auto shifter and e-brake

I was digging around the local pick a part and I stumbled upon another ES250...Thankfully the interior was black so I swiped the e-brake and auto shifter (in pretty good condition) and installed them in my Gen 2...It looks pretty sweet with my leather momo steering wheel and ES250 wood dash...IF any of you Gen 2 guys are itchin for some ES250 parts I can go over there and get em for ya pretty cheap. I was looking at the interior panels too and I believe they would fit the Gen 2...but they were really messed up...anyways...sorry pics arent up...my sis has my digital...For everyone attending the SO CAL meet on the 17th you will be able to see it. See you ugys there

Later,

Matt

Let's see some pics, man.

Anyways, do the power mirrors off an es250 fit perfectly with a camry? And how complicated is it to wire them up. I am just asking because its something i want to do when i get some $$$ (which won't be for a while cuz i got college to worry about).

im working on the pics...my sis is in SD and I am in Anaheim so I will have to wait a bit for the camera...which windows are you talking about the rear door windows or the front door windows? The doors are shaped differently so i doubt the windows are the same...if you want I can go to the junk yard and take some measurements/compare with the wrecked camrys in the lot for you and give you a diagnosis of sorts

let me know

Matt

I'm not sure about the power mirrors off a ES250.

Grab a set off a gen 2, the LE model has power side mirrors. Also grab the switch for the mirrors which is on the upper part of the drivers door.

Wiring is not to bad. See wiring diagram below.

Question for you, actually. How the heck do you remove the auto shifter assembly from an ES250? We found a replacement for the one we have (it came to us dog-chewed) but I can't figure out how to remove it....

Yeah the interior panels don't fit on a Gen 2. The back ones are too long for the camry doors. The front ones are a different shape and stick out when you try to close the door. I am sure they can be modified to fit, but they just don't bolt on like other ES250 parts. How about the ES250 seats? Do those bolt in?
