4cyl Gen 2 Cold Air Intake project is a success!!!!!!!!!

I am sooo excited guys. I am driving over to E.L. Prototypes this Friday to have my car fitted with a prototype Cold Air Intake. Two weeks after Friday it will be put on the shelves for the public to buy. I currently have 9 people on board this project and I have room for one more. Only 10 people will get the group buy price of 160 dollars, after the GB the price will be around 240 dollars...quite a difference..So if you are interested let me know...I have a couple people still deciding whether or not they are in and the person who contacts me first will get the spot...This is just too good to pass up...I will post pics of it when I return home on Friday with the intake...

for the gen 3's are we taking 3vzfe?? cause the Mass air flow sensor is diff isnt it? i would like to see one for the 3vzfe, one piece right from the throttle body down. there would have to be something to bypass the MAFS cause i think that is the most restricting part

Actually bypassing the MAF Sensor would cost somewhere around $800US, I have already gone around and got price checks, it requires something in place of it almost like an SAFC, I forgot what its called (MSAFC?), but anyways the intake that EL was making for the 3vz-fe, would replace the pipe before the MAF and after the MAF, going down into the federwell, leaving the MAF itself alone...Henry Lee has already done this on his 3vz and personally I think his is SWEET!!!

We at ctmotorsport are working on one like EL Prototypes has been talking about for over a year now. As soon as we can get the bends worked out, it will be avablable.

The fact they are in carbon fiber will raise the price, but it shouldnt be more than what ELP is asking for there gen 2 intakes, i hope.

Stock Cold Air

Are you talking about the late 80s to early 90s Camry? Those you can just by a k&n filter, pop it in. Take out the driver side corner light (parking light) witch you dont need anyways. If you look carefully you'll see the pipe that leads to the filter. Works like a charm. And it's much cheaper.
