2005 oil leak
Our 2005 Avalon started leaking oil after the 10000 mile service. They found the leak in the high pressure oil return line and replaced the hose and hose clamp with a screw type band clamp. It still leaks, is back in the shop and they found a leak in the upper formed metal part of the line. The part is on back order, there is a nationwide shortage since this does indeed seem to be a design fault that is appearing around 10000 miles all across the country. My service guy said this is the second one that he has seen. Lucky us!
