Power window problem on '95 Camry

The power window control on the Right front side of the car fails way too often, even from the driver side it sometimes won't work.

Can anyone tell me how to disassemble it and repair it?

Thanks.

Yes, take the door panel off, then check your wires, something is disconnecting, most likely when you hit a bump.. other then that, im not sure

like zeek said... try checking your wires and make sure theyre nice and tight... also try cleaning them. if that doesnt solve the problem it may be the window motor itself

the gen3 camry door is a little hard to take off, but once you get it, you can do it with ease. try one of those do it your self guides, they're sold at most auto-part stores for around 15.00 i got mine on ebay for 12.00 but with ebay, you'll have to wait for shipping and stuff...

Sounds more like a relay problem, most likely dirty contacts. For instructions on removing the door, try a search on this site. It's been posted before but I can't remember the topic.

Good luck!

You could have hit a bump or slammed the door too hard and caused something to disconnect or become misaligned. Same problem with my driver's side window. I thought I needed a new lift motor.

$200? I got quotes from Toyota dealerships for under $100. If it is the motor, try to get a used one, if you don't mind.

I finally got the time to work on my window problem. I removed every screws I see, plus 2 plastic things. yet I still can't get my door off. It seems that something in the area of speaker is either stick to the metal part, or is stuck.

Need some more tips from the pros.

thanks.

I've been having problems with my window too. The passanger side goes up very slow and most of the time it won't go all the way up. I have to go up and down until it decides to go all the way up. I figured it was the motor but I'm gonna check the wires and stuff also. This seems like a pretty common problem in camrys. My friend had to get his fixed one time and said it cost him like $900(pretty sure he got ripped off). Gonna do mine myself.
