How to disable 98 Camry Alarm? (engine immobilizer)

I cannot use the remote to disable the alarm system, so it doesn't allow me to start car...

What should I do to disable it?

Thanks

what?!! that is impossible!!! use your key to open the door.. (what are you trying to do steal a camry??? ) if you have the original key it WILL disable the immobilizer!

EDIT: you might need to ask TOYOTA.

First of all, try changing the battery in the remote if the remote was working previouslly. Check if this would allow you to use the remote again.
Secondly, you can disable the alarm if you have the key. But it requires a sequence of precedure. You can look at skewe's post that has the alarm manual.
Third thing, like leasaunce mention, DO NOT attempt to steal a camry!

ive had this prob before when my remote shorted out in the rain...what you do is put the key in the ignition turn the key enough to put the battery on but not the engine...then on the bottom left panel where your feet usually are...there should be a button press this..and it disables the alarm system allowing you to turn the car on.

None of the Toyotas that I've seen have that button, but then again it the Toyotas that I've seen with an engine immobleizer are the 92 Previa, 04 Sienna, 04 Solora and none have that button.
