2001 Camry LE brake light off & on

Hi,
Here's a good one: my brake light on my 2001 Camry LE(with 75K)comes on and goes off when I go around turns, usually in the morning. I don't necessarily have to be braking on the curves or turns(such as a rotary). I've checked my brake fluid and that's OK. I've pulled up and eased off on the emergency brake and that doesn't affect the light. Anyone know what could make it come on and off?

it has to be the brake fluid level. DId you actually remove the cap and look inside the resevoir or did you jsut go by the indicator marks on the outside. How long has it been since you replaced the brakes on the car. I would guess with 75k miles you ahve done it atleast once and ready for the second in the near future.

Add a little brake fluid...it will go away.
There's a little float in your brake master reservoir that turns on the light when you brake
fluid is slighly low...
As your brakes wear they draw more brake fluid into the hydraulic system and the brake fluid level drops in the reservoir.

Toyota engineers designed it this way to coincide with brake wear.
In other words when that light goes on it's just about time to check your brakes for
wear.
