93 5sfe Turbo

Ok So after i bought that parts car for my trani swap... im left with an engin with no use ... around here oldskool eclips turbo setups are a dime a dozen

so i have a question will a 3sgte turbo manifold fit on a 5sfe head?

.. cuz i know the heads are interchangable but thats a pain in the ass

alot of ppl around here have been puting the junkyard eclips turbo setups on their hondas
i was wondering if that was posible for a 5sfe

i dont want to spend more then $1000

3sgte manifold and ct-26.. eclipse turbos are crap, at least on the 5sfe. Flow is beeter for the 5sfe with the ct-26 or mayb even a turbo off a turbo mustang or manual ford. all is bolt on up to that point

what about the coolent and oil lines running to the turbo is there anything special i need for that or can i get universal lines from autozone or sumtin?...

and i dont know much about the fuel system im gona need or will i even need to do anything im only gona run like 6-7psi ... maybe just new injectors?

Your going to need hoses and fittings.

What I did on my friends CT26 was cut off the stock metal pipes (oil feed and return) from the flange. I then welded on some AN fittings and made up some stainless steel braided hoses with the proper hose ends.

Injectors, map sensor from mr2 turbo, adjustable fpr with 1:1 boost reference, and something to adjust the A/F ratio + timing.

Trust me from experience, do not rush a turbo setup.

Take your time. If you want to do it you won't mind waiting 6 months to pay for everything even if it costs 2k as long as it's done right.

Spending too little and not setting up your system for stability will end if the destruction of your motor.

88 LE helped me do mine to my 94 coupe, RIP as of 8/17/05 due to car thieves, and the turbo ended up blowing out the 4th cylinder. It hauled ass though but if I could do it over I would have spent the extra 1000 before blowing a motor because you spend atleast that rebuilding it.
