Gen 3 gauge LED lights - how many? - 194 and ??

I need to replace my cluster lights and read the excellent FAQ material on this. thanks to those who posted it.

BUT, I want to replace my gauge lights with LEDs and know that some are 194 lights but some must be smaller, correct? what are they and can I use LEDs in those?

(My 94 is a V6, if the panel differed at all between the I-4 and the V6.)

you can use the led based 194 but those are crappy. Try the 'matrix 5-led' i heard that they work wonders. Do a search on 'matrix 5 leds' and you should find a site to get them for cheap.

if you going to use LED make sure you put some Foil paper behind it, so the lights spread out evenly.
